Expert Site Preparation in Slocomb, AL

Site preparation is the first step in any successful landscape or construction project in Headland. Turner Boundary Solutions handles land clearing, vegetation removal, stump and root extraction, rough grading, soil compaction, and drainage shaping before any planting or building begins. Headland sits in Henry County, where clay-heavy soils are common. Clay holds water and can shift under load, so proper grading and compaction work done early prevents settling, pooling, and erosion down the road. Whether you are starting a new lawn, adding hardscape, or breaking ground on a new build, a properly prepared site gives every phase that follows a stable base to work from. Our crew walks each property, reads the slope and soil, and shapes the ground to move water away from structures and planting areas. If your Headland property needs a clean, level, well-drained starting point, contact Turner Boundary Solutions to schedule a site visit.

Common questions about site preparation in Slocomb, AL.

Site preparation in Headland typically covers land clearing, vegetation and stump removal, rough grading, soil compaction, and drainage shaping. These steps create a stable, level base before any landscaping or construction work begins.

Yes, site preparation is needed before installing a new lawn or landscape in Headland. Grading and compaction done first help prevent uneven settling, poor drainage, and plant loss after installation.

Standing water near your foundation or on your lawn after rain is a clear sign your Headland property may need regrading. A site visit from Turner Boundary Solutions can confirm whether the slope and drainage need correction.

Yes, stump and root removal is part of site preparation work in Headland. Leaving roots in the ground causes uneven settling and can interfere with future planting, paving, or grading work.

If you’re looking for a fencing crew that actually delivers on quality, craftsmanship, and professionalism, Turner Boundary Solutions is the real deal. Huge credit to Jerry (founder and owner), his son Jerrod, and Josh the foreman. This is a team that takes real pride in their work. They built my full perimeter woven wire fence with all wood posts, and the attention to detail shows in every stretch. The lines are tight, corners are rock solid, and everything is set like it’s meant to last—not just look good for a season. They also installed both bottom and top hot wire, and it was done clean and right. That gives me the predator control and livestock security I need without any shortcuts. What stood out most is their knowledge and work ethic. This crew understands land, livestock, and what a fence is supposed to do. They didn’t just build a fence—they built a system I can rely on. Hard to find crews like this anymore. I’d recommend Turner Boundary Solutions to anyone serious about doing fencing the right way.

You won't find a higher quality fence than the type that Turner Boundary Solutions builds. They use advanced fencing techniques developed in the spacious ranches of the Western States that dramatically increase the structural stability, durability and longevity of their fences. I haven't found anyone else in our area that uses such quality methods of fence construction. You would expect to pay a premium for this kind of work, however, the owner of Turner Boundary Solutions, Jerry Turner, is one of the most honest, kind and fair men I have ever met. His top priority throughout the quoting and installation process was clear communication, education and transparency. I felt as though I had a friend and mentor looking out for me as I navigated through something that I originally did not know a lot about. He and his crew are an authority in this space and can be completely trusted. Josh was the lead on our project, he is a super friendly guy and extremely hardworking. Despite a few setbacks and hot weather, he persevered to get this 3,200+ linear foot job done with the utmost efficiency and quality to deliver a stellar final product. The fence is as solid as a row of oaks, as straight an arrow and flows with the elevation changes like a gentle stream. It may be a fence, but it's also a work of art. If you are looking for any kind of fence and want the best quality at a fair price, while also supporting really good people, look no further than Turner Boundary Solutions. They are second to none.

Turner Boundary Solutions is an amazing company. The quality of work is the very BEST I have ever seen. I've had several fences installed over the years. None of those fences or fences companies can compare to the quality we received from Turner Boundary Solutions. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality work done by an amazing company. Simply the best!
